Nerd Swag be Her Swag Founder of Lethal Combo Entertainment. Nki-Louise is a rising artist amongst the Canadian Hip Hop Industry, from her versatile genres of music and productions, to her highly astounding accomplishments as a promoter, to her quiet soft spoken poetry, all the way to her not so quiet sense of style and high energized stage presence. She brings more than just a new plate to the table of hip hop, being one of the few female MC's stepping forward into a much respected typical male scene. Nki-Louise turns heads whether it be her raging "In Your Face" style of rap, silencing crowds with her painfully structured R&B solos, or hitting the stage at a Hip Hop show with her acoustic guitar reciting her spoken word. She makes you listen, she digs into your heart, she makes you look. Starting off, Nki-Louise began her profession as a poet. Earning two Editors Choice Awards in her astounding poetry. "A beautiful soul, broken down into an exquisit masterpeice." -Howard Ely, Orlando FL In time, as a pianist, she starting taking her poetry and turning her words into R&B, learning piece by piece how to create and record her own music. "With poetry, there are so many ways to express yourself through music." Of course, growing up with a love of mixed genres and styles of music, Nki-Louise always partook in the party cyphers with her high school friends. Leaving her more in touch with the Hip Hop style she presents in her music and on stage today. It was in 2008 when she decided to take her music to the next level and started recording and producing music that would be presentable to the listeners. Focussing on her two favorite genres, Hip Hop and R&B. As a producer, she builds her instrumentals from bottom to top. Using her own piano pieces as her sample, adding her own guitar melodies or riffs to make the music that pierces the soul, or strictly make you wanna get down and let loose. As both a Vocalist, and a Producer, Nki-Louise creates various genres of music with a strong hint of her own style and creativity. From Hip Hop, to R&B, Rap, Classical Piano, Acoustic, Soft Blues, to Heavy Metal Hip Hop with a touch of Horrorcore. She has the ability to take on and conquer any style, and turn it into an unforgettable story. As she says, "I don't make music to be like everyone else, I don't sing to make people listen, I don't run around and jump off stage to be looked at, and I don't change my appearance so people will notice me. I do everything I do, for myself. If you've ever seen me on stage you'll notice half the time my eyes are closed, even on the most hype performance. It's because I am in my own world and state of mind, releasing all my energy that I put into the music in the first place. I am just being myself, and if no one liked it, or looked, or noticed me, I would still do it. Cause it's what I love to do, it's not up to someone else to chose the path I take."
